We invented the idea of family protection dogs in the UK, and since then, we've sold customers and their families all over the world more than 1,000 well trained personal and family protection canines.

The origins of A1K9 may be traced back more than 20 years: we relocated to Cwmdualais, a little town in South Wales just outside of Swansea. This seemed like the ideal place to train and provide personal security dogs. We began out tiny in 1993 with only a few dogs. An extensive training and evaluation programme for the dogs was created by combining training methods from many disciplines and adding our own twist. We improved the procedure and originally sold trained canines that were owned by family and friends.
