Why are protection dogs in demand?
Our personal and family protection dogs are generally supplied to individuals and families who, for multiple reasons, wish to improve their home security for themselves as well as their families. This could be due to recent burglary within the area or any other violent crimes which may make other people feel vulnerable or threatened. Due to this, our protection dogs then fulfil a dual role in that family as a trusted family pet, whilst on the other hand are able to deal with a security breach if one may occur.
Training of a protection dog
The intense training which all of our dogs go through prepares dogs to deal with everyday life as well as real-life conflict allowing them to confidently defend their owner, property or assets with a measured and conclusive response in order to neutralise an approaching threat.
Due to the training, if a potential threat occurs, the protection dog will firstly try and deter a potential assailant by either barking or growling. In many cases, this will eradicate the problem, however if the threat is not deterred, the dog will either, with or without command disable the threat by biting and holding the assailant. The dog will then not release until told to do so.
Our Protection Dogs
We have a range of protection dogs for sale at Protection Dog. All our dogs are brought from proven bloodlines from selected breeders across Europe. Each dog is then carefully assessed and checked for health and temperament before being imported to us here in the UK. Previous to arriving with us, the dogs will have already been in conditioning training for several months before our specialist trainers then start to train them via our dog training programme.
All of our personal, family and executive protection dogs will have received a minimum of 12 months training and conditioning prior to their sale.
